Audrey has been especially busy lately, she had ice skating lessons and soccer camp. I'm glad she had the opportunity to try some different activities, and she really enjoyed it. On top of all that, we've been running around having fun exploring new places. This week we went to the beach in Ocean City NJ and we also went to the Tyler Arboretum which is nearby and was very cool with lots of neat things for kids, including a collection of fun treehouses.
Here is Audrey at ballet class:
Eleanor is really changing and becoming much more engaged with the world. I love it when she smiles and coos. I'm trying not to focus on the fact that I will be going back to work soon, but instead I'm trying to enjoy my time with her.
Here is Eleanor talking last week. Please excuse my finger in the frame :)
Audrey and our neighbor/new best friend Maya at the zoo.
We decided to take the girls to practice ice skating since Audrey had been making good progress in her lessons. Lillian was very excited to get on the ice, although she was clearly to young to start!
At the beach in Ocean City. It was a beautiful day, but Lillian got more sand on her than I've ever seen on anyone. She even laid her wet head down on the sand! And without any beach showers, clean up was quite a challenge!
Enjoying the wildflowers on the way home from the beach:
Eleanor trying out a bottle with Mathilde. So far she hasn't taken much, but hopefully she's getting used to the idea.
Mathilde and Lillian at an awesome playground we found at Audrey's soccer.
Audrey Loves climbing and is really awesome on the monkey bars.
Last day of soccer camp:
At the Reading Fair, in rural Pennsylvania.
Our little daredevil. I was pretty shocked when I saw her do this, but still took the time to take a picture.
Snack time at Audrey's ballet. With her shirt on backwards. Lillian loves to dress herself, but almost always puts her shirts on backwards.
Here are the girls celebrating Ingrid's 3rd birthday, with Audrey directing:
Ingrid the birthday girl!
Sweet Lillian. She is so active and curious, and extremely verbal. She is a lot of fun.
We will have a busy rest of the month and are looking forward to our road trip to Kentucky.
