Finally Up to Date - and Happy Birthday Lillian!!

We have had so much going on over the last few months.  The girls are doing wonderfully and have really enjoyed visiting with friends and family over the holidays.

Eleanor has really gotten into high gear recently and started crawling this week.  She is also working on her second tooth in a week!  Her favorite thing to say is still da-da-da, but she experiments with all sorts of sounds.

Audrey's reading is coming along really well, I just love to hear her read.  She's also testing out some different attitudes she's picking up at school, but most of the time is really sweet and fun.

Lillian turned three today!  She is still energetic, but she is getting slightly easier to reason with.  She still loves Eleanor way too much and mimics Audrey to a hilarious extent.

We are all happy and healthy and doing well!

Here are some more of our photos:

Having fun in Baba's pool:

Hiking in Indian Canyons:

They came up with this one on their own :)

Eleanor was a little suspicious of Jonny's chain saw.

Adele was a great helper, she loved to hold Eleanor.
Checking out Uncle Costia's plane:

Salvation Mountain:

On our way back from Salvation Mountain we took the girls to a little dive bar.

Audrey is starting to enjoy taking photos.  This was our visit to Joshua Tree National Park:

The calm before the storm..just a few minutes before we realized that Lillian had picked up the stomach bug. Poor Lillian.  And poor Mathilde.
Our last night in Palm Springs.

New Years Day, we went to the Mummers' Parade in Philly.

Eleanor modeling her sun hat.
My early valentine from Audrey.

On our way back to Canada.

The girls with their great grandmother, Michael's maternal grandmother, Avo Virginia.
The cousins!
The girls with Nana and Avo Virginia.
Eleanor still really doesn't eat anything solid, but she's experimenting.
Play date with Reagan and Holden.

Lillian and her buddy Ingrid.  Lillian was very excited about her new french pajamas.
Another beautiful cake by Michael!

I was lucky enough to take the day off for Lillian's birthday.  We had lots of fun measuring the girls' height, making buttermilk pancakes, and the Please Touch Museum while Audrey was at kindergarten.  It really made me wish I could be home with the girls mores.

And here are some more of Audrey's photos I found:
